American President and presidential aspirant, Joe Biden, has pulled out from the presidential race America after pressure from Democrats. He has nominated Kamala Haris to lead the party and oppose presidential candidate, Donald Trump.
He made this withdrawal known in a letter he posted on social media. His letter read, “It has been the greatest honor of my life to serve as your President…” He added, “While it has been my intention to seek reelection, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term.”
In nominating Kamala Harris, he urged fellow Democrats to “come together and beat Trump.”Â
