Justice Baba Yusuf of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, on Thursday set aside February 8, 2016, as the day to deliver ruling on an application initiated by the immediate past National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd). Dasuki is praying the court stop his trial on charges of diversion of N32bn arms fund. The judge arrived at the date after taking arguments on the application filed by Dasuki, wherein he hinged the reason for filing the application on the Federal Government’s “brazen” disobedience of the orders of the court granting him bail. The application is based on the 19-count charge of diversion of N32bn arms funds for which he is being prosecuted alongside a former Director of Finance and Administration, Office of the National Security Adviser, Shuaibu Salisu. The other co-accused are, a former General Manager, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Aminu Babakusa, and two companies ”“ Acacia Holdings Limited and Reliance Referral Hospital Limited.
