Army Kills Fleeing Boko Haram Fighters in Pulka

It has been confirmed by the spokesman for the Nigerian Army, Colonel Sani Usman, that a large number of Boko Haram fighters, who were on the run after their hideouts were bombarded in the Sambisa forest by troops were yesterday, gunned down by soldiers who discovered their secret escape route in Pulka village near Gwoza town.The military had, on Sunday night, embarked on a rapid raid of the insurgents’ enclaves by attacking, simultaneously, from air and ground. They carried out these attacks after a three-week strategic mapping of the areas occupied by Boko Haram fighters.
