Birth Registration: UNICEF Trains 120 Census Takers

The United Nations International Children Emergency Fund(UNICEF), in collaboration with the National Population Commission (NPC), trained 120 census takers in Kogi state on July 19, 2024.The training focused on birth registration to ensure that the population of children are properly documented. The trainers came from four local governments in Kogi state and they include: Idah, Ibaji, Igalamela/Odolu, and Ofu.One hundred and twenty from the four local governments were trained at St. Peter, Idah on Friday.Discover more from NewsBreakers
