Boko Haram Kills 30 in Borno

Suspected members of the Boko Haram insurgents have reportedly killed no fewer than 30 people in a fresh raid on two villages in northeast Nigeria. The insurgents, who reportedly came on bikes and in vans, were said to have stormed the remote villages of Yakshari and Kachifa on Friday and Saturday. According to a local vigilante said to be assisting the military in the fight against Boko Haram Islamists, “The attackers killed 30 people in two separate attacks on the two villages last night (Friday) and this morning (Saturday).”
