(Updated) Kogi Gets New Governor

The Kogi State governor-elect, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has been sworn in as the substantive governor of the state.He was sworn in at noon by the Chief Judge of Kogi State, Justice Nasiru Ajanah, at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.Dignitaries in attendance at the ceremony are; the APC National Chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, some members of the National Executive Council of the party, representative of Senate President, Senator Kabiru Gaya, Governor Tanko Almakura (Nasarawa) and his Benue State counterpart, Samuel Ortom.
