British Parliament Meet to Debate Trump’s ‘Hate Speech’

In a few hours, the fate of Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, will be determined when members of the British Parliament hold a debate over a petition calling for the U.S. businessman-turned-politician to be banned from the country. This debate came as a result of a petition made by one Scottish freelance journalist and activist, Suzanne Kelly, who requested Trump be banned from British shores. The politician is to be barred because of his ”˜hate speech’ after he calls for a travel ban on Muslims entering the United States. The members of parliament will also debate a counter-petition that calls for Trump not to be banned from the country.
