President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of new heads for the six information-related agencies under the Ministry of Information. The affected agencies are News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) and others.It is reported that seasoned journalist, Bayo Onanuga, has been named the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria.As at press time, information on the issue is still sketchy.
