Dasuki’s Home Siege: Newly Appointed AGF Summoned

Justice Adeniyi Ademola of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday ordered the appearance of incumbent Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami (SAN).He is being summoned to proffer answers as to the reason why operatives of the Department of States Services (DSS) are still laying siege on the Abuja residence of the immediate past national security adviser, Sambo Dasuki.The AGF or any of his representatives are expected to show up in court on Monday.Aside every other reason, the court wants an explanation as to why Dasuki, who has been granted permission by the court to travel abroad for medicals, is still in Nigeria.It would be recalled that the court had set aside today (Friday) as the day to entertain the action initiated by Dasuki which prayed the judge to direct the DSS operatives to move away from his residence located at 13 John Kadiya Street, Asokoro District, Abuja.
