He said that Nigerians must begin to speak out now before the country was completely destroyed by the directionless federal government. He said that the exchange rate was N500 to a dollar under Buhari’s leadership and this has led to untold hardship and suffering in the country as Nigerians were being killed in Southern Kaduna and other places.”˜It is better for the president to resign because he appears not to have capacity for positivity. If all the presidents that ruled before Buhari had behaved like he is behaving now, he himself will be in jail’.In a statement made through his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the governor said the president and his cohorts in the DSS, EFCC and other government agencies should just resign if they had nothing better to do than to record the phone conversations of their perceived political foes.He also added that the leaking of recorded telephone conversations to Sahara Reporters by the DSS showed a height of manipulation, rascality and irresponsibility. He also said that Nigerians longed to hear of the defeat of hunger and untold hardship and not the recycled Boko Haram stories.”˜Whenever Nigerians cry about the pains and sufferings they are going through, the government will come up with stories like ’20 Chibok girls found’, ”˜$1 billion found in Mr. A, B or C bedroom’, ”˜Boko Haram technically defeated’, ”˜We have just captured Sambisa forest’, etc just to divert attention’.He told the government to face the harsh reality of the hard stance of the president, his statements against Nigeria home and abroad and his demonstration of hatred against some sections of the country which has led the country to where it was presently.
