Increase Validity of UTME, Senate Asks JAMB

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has been asked by the Nigeria Senate to increase the validity of its results from one year to three years.Making this recommendation known at plenary, Senator Joshua Lidani also called attention to a recent policy formulated by JAMB which according to him is contrary to the laws applied in setting up JAMB.The policy suggests that universities with surplus applicants for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations, UTME, are transferred to other universities with lower number of candidates than their capacities.
