Man Arraigned Over Manslaughter

A 35- year old man, Azeez Ibrahim, has been docked before Justice S.S Ogunsanya of a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja over allegation of manslaughter. The suspect was particularly accused of opening fire on one Ogunkoya Adebusayo on her head with a pump action gun which resulted in her death. He was said to have committed the offence on July 6, 2015 at Mambila Hotel, Owotu, Ikorodu, Lagos State. The defendant, who was dragged to court by the Lagos State Government, is standing trial on a one count charge of manslaughter. Further hearing in the matter has been adjourned till February 3, 2016.
