NEMA renders aid to Nigerian refugees in Cameroun

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) over the weekend provided 1,460 bags of assorted food items to 80,709 Nigerian refugees in Cameroun.

Most of the refugees migrated from Borno state. The Director General of NEMA, Muhammad Sani Sidi, represented by the agency’s Director of Search and Rescue, Commodore SBB Muhammad said that the items were to provide aid to the Nigerian refugees while handling the items to the officials of Cameroun.According to Sidi, NEMA would continue to collaborate with the Cameroun government to provide aid and assistance to Nigerian refugees and that they were not forgotten. He also said that the Nigerian government was doing everything possible to bring them back to their respective states.He also pleaded with some youths to stay away from drugs as some were arrested for drug abuse.
