Apart from praying for a better Nigeria, the pastor encouraged the sustenance of the struggle to enthrone a better Nigeria. Pastor Ighodalo prayed against bad leadership in Nigeria.

He prayed: “Bad leadership will end.

“Poverty will end.

“Anxiety will end.

“Fear will end.

“Lack will end.

“Frustration will end.

“Armed robbery will end.

“Boko Haram will end.

“Killing of people will end.”

To every prayer follow a thunderous Amen.

Ighodalo then added: “EndSARS.

“It is only the beginning.

“Let me tell you: Nigeria is the greatest country in the world.

“And you are privileged to be a Nigerian.

“I am proud to be a Nigerian.

“And Nigeria is going to get to where it is going.

“You guys are powerful.

“No retreat… (to which the crowd responded: No surrender)”

He said this three times.

Ighalo then added: “I hope you all have Permanent Voters Card?

“You must all go and get your Permanent Voters Card.

“You are going to vote.

“You will know who to vote for.

“You will stay at the polling booth.

“You will count the results.

“You will make sure nobody steals your vote.

“We are going to vote in good leadership into Nigeria.

“You need honest people, upright people, bold people, people of vision, people that fear God, people that love you, people that love you, people that love you, people that want life to be better for you, people that love Nigeria, people that want Nigeria to change, people that want Nigeria to be great.

“EndSARS!!!

“EndSARS killings.

“End rioting….

“In the name of Jesus.”

Also at the Lekki venue, a lady was credited with having provided several solar powered phone charging points for protesters.

A white van, just by the charging point, served as the source of the power.

There were no fewer than 50 charging points on both sides of the board to which the switches were affixed. Those using it were full of praises to the provider.
