Pastor Tunde Bakare Gets New Appointment

Recently, the Royal Commonwealth Society Africa has appointed Nigerian Prophetic-Apostolic Pastor, Dr. Tunde Bakare as the Inaugural Chairman of The Advisory Council of The Africa Office.

Notably for over 150 years, the Society has been the backbone of Commonwealth civil society. It has welcomed leaders from across the Commonwealth including Ghana’s first Prime Minister, Kwame Nkrumah, Oliver Tambo, Thabo Mbeki, Chief Buthelezi, Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela.

The Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS) is a network of individuals and organisations committed to enhancing the lives and prospects of Commonwealth citizens across the world. It is dedicated to championing the importance of literacy, equality and inclusion, the environment and connected communities across the Commonwealth’s 54 member nations.

The goal of the Commonwealth Service is to celebrate the unity, diversity, and linkages of the modern Commonwealth. It also aims at fostering greater understanding of the Commonwealth’s achievements and obligations, particularly amongst its young people.

The Service takes place in the presence of some 2,000 guests including Her Majesty The Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Members of The Royal Family, Commonwealth and UK diplomatic representatives and the public. This is in addition to over 700 young people from across the United Kingdom.

Pastor Tunde Bakare was formerly a pastor at the Deeper Life Bible Church before he left to join the Redeemed Christian Church of God which he soon left to form his own.

Subsequently, he founded The Latter Rain Assembly (End-Time Church) on April 1, 1989 and is presently the Serving Overseer of the church.

Furthermore, he presides over Global Apostolic Impact Network (GAIN) – a network of churches, ministries and kingdom businesses committed to advancing the Kingdom of God on earth.

Dr. Bakare is also the President of Latter Rain Ministries, Inc. (Church Development Center) in Atlanta, GA, USA, a ministry obligated to restoring today’s church to the scriptural pattern.
