PDP Governors Fire Secondus

Governors in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), have directed the party’s Acting National Chairman, Uche Secondus, to leave office with immediate effect. The PDP governors specifically asked Secondus to hand over the running of the party’s secretariat to the National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo, and that he should return to his former position as the Deputy National Chairman. It would be recalled that on Wednesday, Ahmed Gulak who is a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, had stormed the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja, pronouncing himself as the national chairman.
