Mr. Garba Shehu who is the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity says that Presidency is yet to be contacted via official channels over the alleged summon issued to President Buhari by the National Assembly.
The National Assembly had on Thursday passed a motion inviting PresidentMuhammadu Buhari to address the legislature on efforts being made by hisadministration on the current economic recession.”There is a channel of communication between the Presidency and the NationalAssembly which we utilize. So, if they communicate to us through those channels, thenthe presidency will reply”.“But as it is now, it remains a newspaper report and newspaper is not a means ofcommunication for the presidency.
