President expresses hope, says 2017 budget will end economic recession

The president last night expressed hope and optimism that the proposed 2017 budget would not only bring to an end the current economic recession facing the country but also catapult the country into economic prosperity and advancement.The encouragements were the highlights of the president’s address to Nigerians to mark the 2016 Eid-el-Maulud celebrations today.He also admonished Nigerians to be strengthened by the temporary challenges surrounding them and not to be overwhelmed by them.He is also billed to lay the budget estimates before a joint session of the National Assembly on Wednesday.He also urged Nigerians to look forward to the new year with hope and expectation, assuring that the collective hardwork of Nigerians would overcome every insurmountable mountain of economic difficulties.
