Unity Schools to Expel Children of Parents who Tarnish Image of School Via Social Media

The Buhari regime has decided to expel students from government run unity schools if their parents use the social media to spread false and negative information about the school. This was issued by the Federal Ministry of Education via a memo to all unity schools.

The circular noted that some parents under the guise of concern use social media platforms to promote false and negative information aimed at tarnishing the image of the schools. It is also said that such acts were a threat to the peace and harmony of federal unity colleges and would not be tolerated.Also, it placed a warning to parents who were in the habit of spreading inciting or derogatory information to expect the withdrawal of their children/ward from school if they persisted in such acts.
