State Of Emergency Declared In France over Terror Attacks

France President, Francois Hollande, on Saturday, declared a state of emergency in the country.The declaration came on the heels of the Friday night terror attacks in Paris where 129 people have been confirmed dead.The France President ordered that the country’s borders would remain closed.President Hollande, who made a promise that his government would embark on what he termed “a merciless response”, described the attacks as war against France.According to him, “Faced with war, the country must take appropriate action. France will be merciless towards these barbarians from Daesh.”
