Registered Trustees of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) will be arraigned before a Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja.Others slated to be arraigned alongside SCOAN are the building engineers who supervised the collapsed guest house belonging to the church which claimed the lives of 116 people.Prophet T.B is one of the trustees who, according to the Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Lagos State Ministry of Justice would be arraigned before the court. It would be recalled that a Lagos State Coroner’s Court sitting in Ikeja, presided over by Chief Magistrate Oyetade Komolafe, had earlier found SCOAN, alongside it’s contractors, guilty of negligence in the incident which took place on September 12, 2014.Chief Magistrate Komolafe further gave a recommendation that the state government should ensure SCOAN faces trial. But SCOAN questioned the decision of the Coroner before Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi. However, on Monday November 11, 2015, the judge threw out SCOAN’s application which by implication has now cleared the coast for trial.
