Why you Shouldn’t Take too Much Coffee
By Cory
1. Anxiety
Now, caffeine functions in your system by blocking the hormone that makes you tired and causes sluggishness. Afterwards, it helps your body to release adrenaline, which is also known as the fight or flight hormone. This generally increases your level of alertness and makes you much quicker in thinking and acting. However, when you take too much coffee, you’ll end up thinking too much about virtually everything. Considering that your body is constantly being forced to release the flight or fight hormone, you’ll be on the edge most of the time as you’ll literally be waiting for the next opportunity to fight or to take flight.2. Insomnia
It’s not uncommon to see people taking coffee to prevent sleep. For what it’s worth, it actually works. You won’t feel the overwhelming urge to crash when you’re working at 2 in the morning. However, too much coffee will mean that you are constantly awake, a.k.a insomnia. You’ll end up messing up your sleep pattern, which will generally affect your productivity during the day time as you’ll need to sleep to make up for the time you lost at night. The alternative would be to take more coffee to keep you up during the day. But, considering effect number one, is that really the best solution?3. Fatigue
If you’re overly dependent on caffeine for energy, the chances are that you’re neglecting other sources of good energy, such as proper feeding and good sleep. As such, when the caffeine eventually leaves your system, you’ll become ridiculously weak and drowsy. Under normal circumstances, this could be fine. But, if it happens at work, or in school, you’ll find yourself struggling to get through the rest of your day.4. Addiction
Believe it or not, caffeine is a drug, and like every other drug, you could get addicted to it. The chances are that you might even be addicted already. Unfortunately, there are a number of disadvantages that come with a caffeine addiction. At the very top of the list is that you would become entirely dependent on a cup of black liquid to function. Doesn’t sound too pleasant, does it?Finally
None of these effects are desirable health benefits. As such, as much as you can, try to quit drinking so much coffee. To help reset your body, you could try going seven days without it. Good luck!Discover more from NewsBreakers
