The Chipolopolo star expressed his gameness for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Gernot Rohr’s men by netting against Cape Town City
Collins Mbesuma scored his 100th Premier Soccer League goal in Highlands Park 1-1 draw Cape Town City on Tuesday.Mbesuma’s daring volley in the 73rd minute earned his side a point after Lebogang Manyama had put visiting City ahead four minutes earlier at the Makhulong Stadium. The 32-year-old forward was also on target in his side’s 3-2 defeat at Polokwane City, as Highland Park now place 10th on the South African topflight log with five points from four games. With this imposing form of Mbesuma, Nigeria defenders must be at their best to stop him when the Chipolopolo welcome the Super Eagles to Ndola when the race to 2018 Fifa World Cup commences on October 9.The former Portsmouth goal poacher was recalled to the national team by coach Wedson Nyirenda after serving his suspension.
