Tukur Buratai, the Chief of Nigerian Army Staff has charged the Nigerian soldiers to completely eradicate Boko Haram terrorists so as to enable Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) return home. This charge was given at the Damboa Local Government, Borno State when he visited troops of the 81 battalion in the local government.
He reiterated that the army was dedicated to the enhancement of the troop’s welfare and that soldiers’ rotation will take place after every six months of deployment.He urged them to continue with the aggressive action, patrol and ambush and invade criminal hideouts like those of their colleagues in Sambisa Forest.He commended their efforts and urged them to keep the momentum higher.
