Ghanaian Government Stops First Class Air Travel for Public Officials

President of Ghana, John Mahama has issued a directive stating that public officials should henceforth stop travelling through first class air travel. This, according to President Mahama is intended to cut wasteful spending. It would be recalled that a directive had earlier been issued to the effect that all ministers and other top government officials were asked to stop “unwarranted” foreign trips on the public purse.
