Lagos State Governor Appoints Acting State Head of Service

Mrs. Folashade Adeoye has been approved by the Lagos State governor, Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode to replace Mrs. Olabode Ademola as the Acting Head of Service of the state.

Mrs. Adeoye was the Permanent Secretary of the state’s Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation until her recent appointment.Former Head of Service of the state, Mrs. Olabode Ademola along with her husband, Justice Adeniyi Ademola were both accused of alleged fraud by the federal government following a raid on their home by the Department of State Services (DSS).They were both arraigned in court on Tuesday on 11 counts charge which included conspiracy to receive gratification and receiving gratification.Mr. Steve Ayorinde, the state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy in a statement said Mrs. Ademola sought for permission to be excused so as to prove her innocence in the allegations levelled against her.The Lagos state governor granted her approval and appointed an acting Head of Service.
