A well built and furnished library was donated to the Randle Avenue Primary School, Surulere, Lagos by the Nigerian Breweries.

Mr. Nicolaas Vervelde, Managing Director of Nigerian Breweries, who spoke at the formal handover of the project, said the initiative was geared at contributing to the development of education in Nigeria and also investing in the nation’s future.Mr. Vervelde who was represented by the Company’s Corporate Affairs Adviser, Mr. Kufre Ekanem said the gesture would encourage reading culture among the children and improve the quality of learning in the school. He also urged the students and staff of the school to make great use of the facility.Mrs. Modupe Sasore, President of the Rotary Club of Lagos, noted that the gesture is a commitment of the company to upgrade and uplift the standard of education in the country.
