Nine Children Injured, Two Dead in Southport Stabbing Attack

Two children have died while several others have been critically injured in a stabbing attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance event in Southport on Monday, 29th of July, 2024.

The incident is believed to have taken place at a community centre for children and adults known as The Hart Space, on Hart Street, Southport, earlier today. Mirror reports that eyewitnesses claimed that they saw seven to ten kids outside a nursery, injured and bleeding.Chief Constable Serena Kennedy confirmed that two children have died and that nine others have been injured while six are in critical condition. She also confirmed that a 17-year old has been arrested in connection to the attack.<p class=”ssrcss-1q0x1qg-Paragraph e1jhz7w10″>In a statement released on X, the Prince and Princess of Wales have paid tribute to those affected by the attack in Southport, saying they “cannot begin to imagine what the families, friends and loved ones” of the victims are going through.
