Adeboye Provides Snacks, Food to Support #EndSARS Protest

Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, on Sunday showed her support to the ongoing #EndSARS protest in Nigeria.

She donated three truckloads of food and water to the #EndSARS protest currently going on in Alausa, Ikeja.

The items donated by Mrs Adeboye, popularly referred to as Mummy G.O, include: 200 cartons of bottled water, 1000 bags of sachet water and 27 bags of freshly made puff puff.

The nationwide #EndSARS protest against police brutality, which has entered its 12th day, is currently holding in Alausa and other locations across the country.

The clergywoman, via her social media page, wrote:”This morning I woke up early to do something to contribute my own quota to the clamor for reforms across all sectors in Nigeria. I realized that Interdenominational sunday services were going to be held at the major protest venues in Lagos and if I cant be there in person I can send something, so I decided to make puff puff for everyone at the venues this morning. I pray that the Nigeria we all wish for, for ourselves and the generation unborn will be achieved by the special grace of our lord Jesus Christ. Amen.” #ENDSARS

Here are some appreciation tweets by one of the coordinators of the #EndSARS protest in Alausa:

“Mummy G.O sent in 3 trucks to Alausa this morning. We have 27 packs of bottle water, 1,000 of pure water & 27 bags of puffpuff directly from RCCG camp. We see it, we appreciate it!” #EndSARS#AlausaProtest

Pastor Enoch Adeboye and the Redeemed Christian Church of God had on Thursday supported the #EndSARS, #EndSWAT protests when he took to his Instagram page to write: “Our daughters will not be able to prophesy and young men will not see visions if we don’t keep them alive. I support the youths in this peaceful protest as they “speak up” to #EndPoliceBrutality #EndSARS #ENDSWAT”.
