President commiserates with families of deceased NYSC members, orders investigation into death

By Akinwande OnadekoPresident Buhari offered condolences and commiserated with the families of three National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) members who died at the orientation camps of the states they were deployed to during the 2016 Batch B orientation programmes.

The demise of the young Nigerians has been called shocking by the president and he also urged families and friends of the deceased to be consoled by the knowledge that their loved ones died serving their fatherland and not for ignoble reasons.He also extended condolences to the Director General and Management of the scheme.He however ordered a thorough investigation into the death of Ifedolapo Oladepo in Kano State to ascertain the true circumstances behind her death.He prayed that God will grant the souls of the departed youths eternal rest.
