Nigeria coach Gernot Rohr sees Dutch-born defender Tyronne Ebuehi as the solution to his problems in the right-back.
According to AfricanFootball.com, Rohr said he was forced to play four different players in the position in his first three matches in charge ”“ Musa Mohammed, Wilfred Ndidi, Kenneth Omeruo and Shehu Abdullahi.“I hope Ebuehi comes after he stayed away against Algeria to focus on his club career,” said Rohr.“Musa Mohammed played in that position against Tanzania and he was good, but he is not playing for his club in Turkey. He must find a solution.
“We have also played Ndidi, Omeruo and Shehu in that position.”Ebuehi from Dutch club ADO Den Haag was stopped from the Algeria match by his agent even after his parents approved for him to honour the call-up.Discover more from NewsBreakers
