
Over a hundred protesters have been arrested after protests organised by far-right in the UK descended into chaos.Independence reported that several towns and cities in England and Northern Ireland saw violent clashes involving far-right demonstrators, with dozens of police officers left injured.
There was unrest in areas including Hull, Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, Stoke-on-Trent, Blackpool and Belfast, with bricks thrown, shops looted and police attacked in some places.
Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer pledges to give police forces the government’s “full support” to take action against “extremists” attempting to “sow hate.”
