Sylva’s Cousin Kidnapped

It emerged on Tuesday that Krinpere Douglas, cousin to governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timipre Sylva, has been kidnapped by unknown gun men.He was said to have been kidnapped on Monday afternoon along the Ogbia-Brass waterways when the convoy of boats he was riding in were attacked by the gunmen.The victim was heading to a political rally in support of Sylva expected to be held in the Okpoma and Brass areas of the State.Confirming the incident, Director for Media and Publicity of Sylva’s campaign organisation, Nathan Egba said, ”The victim was coming for this campaign but, unfortunately, their boat, which was in our convoy, was attacked by the gunmen who abducted him to an unknown destination.”
