Portugal skipper Cristiano Ronaldo, has declared that this year’s Euros will be his last. The 39 year old revealed in a post-match press conference following Portugal’s penalty win over Slovenia.Group F winners Portugal were drawn against Group C’s Slovenia but both sides failed to find the back of the net both in regular time and after extra time, with Ronaldo failing to convert from a penalty kick around the 105th minute.However, during the penalty shoot out, Slovenia failed to net any of their three spot kicks while Portugal scored all three of theirs with Ronaldo getting one past Jan Oblak this time.“I was sorry for the fans. I’ll always give my best for this shirt, whether I miss it or not. And I’ll do this my whole life. You have to take responsibility,” Ronaldo stated.Portugal will now face France on Friday for a chance to qualify for the semifinal of the competition.
